Responsibilities
- Educational Material Development
- Create and update training materials, lesson plans, and outreach resources
- Deliver workshops and educational sessions
- Support and mentor other program aides in teaching strategies
- Recruit and engage participants and volunteers
- Provide guidance on agricultural (especially dairy) practices
- Program Planning & Outreach
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, conferences, and events (including online registrations)
- Support program development and participate in planning meetings
- Connect with researchers, agencies, and community partners
- Promote educational programs and resources to diverse audiences
- Survey & Data
- Collect, analyze, and interpret program data and survey results
- Develop and refine methods for gathering and sharing information
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve programs
- Share findings with stakeholders to strengthen impact
- Communications & Social Media
- Maintain and update website and social media platforms
- Share research-based tools, resources, and program updates
- Expand outreach to new, non-traditional, and underrepresented audiences
- Gather and respond to stakeholder feedback
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow laboratory and disease control protocols
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials
- Promote a safe and compliant work environment

- What We Need

- Associate's degree and 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have and maintain a valid and unrestricted NYS driver's license and be cleared to drive for university business.

- Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical, as is ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have experience with computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe, etc.
- Able to work quickly and efficiently under general supervision.
- Effectively use judgment to prioritize and accomplish tasks.
- Prior event planning experience.
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
