Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Retail Media Onsite Activation to lead our Onsite Media strategy and activation. This role is responsible for overseeing a high volume of Onsite Media campaigns for a prominent Retail Media Network. In addition to supporting the day-to-day, this role is key to driving innovation & growth within the channel, while managing a team of Onsite Activation specialists. Key Responsabilities Strategic Outlook: Forecasts performance, resourcing and financial risks across campaigns and Pods, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Campaign Management: Owns Onsite channel outcomes, standards, and delivery health. Approves media plans and optimization direction. Team Leadership: Oversees campaigns at a high level, and ensures workload is balanced and adjusted as needed across the team. Guides and manages Managers and Associate Directors, setting operations standards. Manages and mentors a team of Onsite Activation specialists and media buyers, providing guidance on best practices and professional development. Client Relations: Serve as primary point of contact for Onsite initiatives alongside SVP, collaborating with clients at multiple levels. Platform Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of publisher-side platforms (notably Google Ad Manager) and their capabilities as well as leading buy-side platforms (The Trade Desk, DV360, CM360, etc.) and their capabilities. Data & Analytics: Drive data-informed decision making, support insights development, and report outputs. Process Improvement: maintain & enforce workflows, documentation, and quality assurance processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Drives process improvements and best practices. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Offsite, Social, Retail Media Enablement, Media Strategy, and Analytics teams to ensure integrated campaign activation. Required Qualifications 7+ years of programmatic advertising experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role Demonstrated expertise with sell/publisher-side platforms and programmatic buy-side platforms (notably Google Ad Manager) Strong understanding of digital advertising channels (display, video, mobile, native, audio, CTV) Proven ability to manage and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with data literacy Effective communication and presentation skills Experience with advertising technology stack and integration Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
