Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing process engineering applications and improvements in the manufacturing facility with primary focus on metal surface finishing systems.
Will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, OpEx, Automation teams to support plant KPI and CapEx execution.
Use Autocad or equivalent CAD tools for layout and tooling design
Apply problem solving and testing skills in analytical lab environment.
Plan and coordinate technical design and implementation of finishing systems.
Design, develop and implement process improvements for all finishing systems
Work with coatings lab technicians, maintenance technicians, process engineering staff and vendors in a collaborative team environment.
Run, troubleshoot and train on coatings analytical lab equipment.
Maintain work instructions for process, lab, and supporting operations.
Provide project leadership from concept identification, design, build and final life cycle support.
Understand plant FESOP and WWT permits
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree required.
5 years of strong Manufacturing Engineering related experience
Proven track record in controlling, improving and implementing multiple finishing processes
Knowledge of relevant OSHA and EPA laws and regulations.
Experience in Metal Surface Finishing is preferred.
