Building Automation Specialist

About the role

The Facilities Operations Center (FOC) serves as the 24/7 central point of command for monitoring the health and performance of our portfolio-wide building automation systems. As a Building Automation Specialist on our Facilities Operations Center (FOC) team, you will be responsible for the real-time identification and triage of system alarms, dispatching service technicians, and escalating complex faults to the extended support teams to ensure seamless operation of our facilities. This critical role ensures operational uptime and contributes directly to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment for all Apple employees. As our first line of defense, you will help take decisive action to resolve issues remotely using approved operator tools, and when unable to, create high-quality, actionable work tickets with clear documentation of steps already taken to ensure the correct engineering or field team can resolve the problem efficiently. You will also work collaboratively with the Facility Service Center (FSC), our BAS Engineers, maintenance technicians, project managers, and external vendors to resolve system issues promptly and maintain optimal building performance.
