Job Description Identify Emerging Enterprise business opportunities and develop actionable growth strategies Translate Head Office direction into effective area and branch-level plans Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive sustainable growth Lead execution of sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and customer outreach activities Build and manage partnerships with external stakeholders (corporates, developers, business associates, professional firms) Support deal closures to improve customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling Collaborate closely with internal teams (Credit, Trade, Product, BET) to ensure seamless execution Drive team performance to achieve or exceed sales, portfolio, and campaign targets Guide loan submissions, credit engagements, and ensure high-quality, compliant outputs Promote strong sales discipline and best practices across the team Work with Trade Sales teams to increase product utilisation Coach and develop Team Heads and sales staff in product knowledge, technical skills, and leadership Foster a high-performance, customer-centric team culture Encourage collaboration and sharing of best practices across regions Plan and build a strong sales talent pipeline aligned with business strategy Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales professionals Conduct coaching, training, and performance improvement initiatives Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Product, Credit, Operations, and HQ Manage external partnerships to drive business opportunities and improve turnaround times Act as a key liaison between Head Office and field teams, ensuring alignment and execution Handle escalations effectively while balancing business growth, risk, and customer experience Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or related discipline Relevant banking or professional certifications are an advantage 7-10 years of experience in SME, Emerging Enterprise, or Commercial Banking Proven track record in sales leadership, team management, and portfolio growth Experience working with Credit, Product, and Operations teams Strong understanding of SME / Emerging Enterprise market Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills Strong business and credit acumen Proven ability in coaching, talent development, and team leadership Results-driven with a strong customer focus Additional Requirements Be a Part of the UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
