Responsibilities

  • Test Development & Execution
  • Develop and implement board-level functional test modules for Corsair PCIe accelerator cards, covering power-on sequencing, firmware load, PCIe link training and enumeration, functional validation, and stress/burn-in.
  • Architect the manufacturing test strategy for the upcoming server platforms, including system-level integration test, BMC/IPMC firmware validation, and multi-card test orchestration.
  • Develop test plans, regression requirements, and test coverage assessments aligned with the Manufacturing Test Requirements plan across the full product lifecycle.
  • Test Infrastructure & Scalability
  • Design a scalable, maintainable test implementation strategy with a focus on automation, standardization, and continuous improvement that reduces manual effort across product generations.
  • Analyze test data to optimize manufacturing test efficiency, reduce test times, and identify yield-limiting patterns.
  • Quality & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with the MQE team to drive root cause analysis and corrective action for failures during customer POCs and hardware integrations.
  • Collaborate with Product Quality Engineering on new product introductions and develop test solutions to enable new technology and form factors.
  • Manufacturing Partner Engagement
  • Deploy new test capabilities at manufacturing sites and provide hands-on training to manufacturing partner teams.
  • Triage floor failures.
  • On call support for keeping the floor running.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience developing and deploying manufacturing test software in a high-volume hardware manufacturing environment.
  • Direct experience with PCIe card, NIC, GPU, or server/storage hardware manufacturing test at the board level.
  • Strong knowledge of PCIe protocol fundamentals, board-level power sequencing, and functional test methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and command-line debug tools.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing test infrastructure including test fixtures, JTAG/boundary scan, and in-system test methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, make architectural decisions, and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing floor operations at scale (100K+ units/year).
  • Familiarity with OCP hardware specifications or hyperscaler hardware design standards.
  • Experience with BMC/IPMC firmware validation, Redfish management interfaces, or server tray-level integration test.
  • Proficiency with test data infrastructure, statistical analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, or Python-based equivalents), and SPC/SQC methodologies.
  • Demonstrated use of quality tools and methodologies (8D, FMEA, DOE, fishbone analysis) in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Track record of scaling test strategies from card-level to system-level products.
