Senior Paralegal duties focus upon litigation support, specifically focused on the Natural Resources Section and 5th Amendment Takings cases. Requirements
Required:
At least one year of experience in automated litigation support.
Sound working knowledge of federal and state court system, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems, e.g., Relativity, Acrobat, Excel, JEFS/Box.com, Word, Teams, Power Point, and social media tools.
Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure will be very important.
Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure.
Advanced skills with Excel. Professional, can-do, customer-service attitude.
Ability to travel.
Desired:
Relativity experience.
Discovery: Document review for relevance and privilege.
Courtroom presentation: Trial Director or OnCue experience.
Trial support experience (willingness to travel when needed, CONUS. Moot session support, transcript review and tracking, in-court attorney support, war room support, overcall case and deadline tracking/reporting, etc.).
eDiscovery certifications.
Prior experience supporting the Federal Government.
Prior experience with motions support, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, and cite checking/Blue booking.
Works well independently and with a team.
