What you should have
You are a Discord user, and understand the core features and flow of Discord
You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, working across the stack (mobile, web, backend) building user experiences
You have 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, leading teams of 5 or more engineers building user facing products
You have a product sense and take pride in understanding your customers
You have worked in a product team with clear metrics goals
You are very goal oriented and always strive to win
You are motivated to help your team members succeed and have experience growing engineers
You are excited to get hands-on - we're looking for someone to manage primarily but our leaders should feel very comfortable jumping into code to understand our product better, brainstorming technical solutions, and making changes directly.

You have worked on a social or messaging consumer product
You have experience with React Native
