Our NSW / ACT Workplace team is looking for a Workplace Coordinator to play a key role in delivering a high quality, well run and peopl e - focused workplace experience across our Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra offices. This role is based in our Canberra office 5-days a week, and you will be located at our Concierge Desk , where you'll be the face of our workplace - bringing Aurecon's brand to life through a welcoming, inclusive and professional front of house experience, while also supporting the smooth delivery of facilities and workplace operations. We're looking for someone who's curious, proactive and people focused , with the ability to balance excellent customer service with practical execution. You'll enjoy solving problems, coordinating activity behind the scenes, and using data and insights to continuously improve both workplace experience and operational outcomes. Your role will include: Delivering a warm, professional and consistent workplace experience for clients, visitors and staff in the Canberra office, helping create a welcoming, connected and well-run environment. Supporting the Canberra Office Lead with client-facing activities, local office coordination, communications, administration and initiatives that strengthen office culture and engagement. Coordinating Canberra events, large meetings, workshops and workplace activations , ensuring they are well planned, professionally delivered and aligned to business needs. Managing day-to-day facilities operations , including maintenance, suppliers, cleaning, catering, stationery, storage, PPE, car parking, fleet and general workplace services. Managing health, safety and compliance activities , including Done s afe reporting, workplace inspections, ISO audit requirements, fire warden and first aider coordination, corrective actions and accurate record keeping. Acting as a key point of contact for workplace services , responding to staff, visitor and stakeholder needs including access, passes, room support, IT/AV triage, WiFi , lockers, archiving and general office requests. Supporting Canberra client and business development administration , including CMS updates, tender site monitoring, proposal support, project coordination and local market information where required . Providing practical coordination support for Canberra leadership , including calendar coordination, meeting preparation, minute taking, action follow-up and general office administration. Supporting major and minor Canberra workplace projects , including fitout activity, office improvements, stakeholder coordination, supplier follow-up and project administration. Identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities across workplace experience, facilities operations, office culture, client support and regional NSW/ACT service delivery. As well as experience in a similar type of role , or hospitality environment , s pecifically we're looking for : Proven experience in a people - centric, client, customer service or workplace environment , with the ability to deliver a consistently high standard of service . Demonstrated capability or exposure to facilities, operations or workplace coordination activities , such as maintenance coordination, compliance tasks, asset or fleet administration . Experience supporting or delivering events, hospitality or workplace activations will be highly regarded, but is not essential . Comfortable working across both front of house and operational responsibilities , balancing service delivery with practical execution . Ability to quickly learn and confidently use digital workplace systems and tools (e.g. booking systems, asset registers, collaboration platforms ) . Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including clear and professional written communication . A collaborative team player with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels
