Two years of college or technical school or equivalent experience preferred
1 or more years of semiconductor processes knowledge and lab experience & equipment
1 or more years of experience with analysis equipment hands-on operation preferred
Prior experience with operating analysis equipment including any of the following: X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Optical Profilometry, Atomic Force Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy, Electron Backscatter Diffraction, Nanoindentation, FTIR, Raman
Knowledge of semiconductor process equipment and process flow
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Teamwork with good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work for long periods sitting at instruments and handle small samples

Position Summary
The primary function of this new technician position is to operate Surface Analysis analytic equipment. Will be responsible for performing functions as a technician supporting analysis requests and collaborating with engineering to support Foundry process qualifications, equipment qualifications and mass production yield improvements.
Role and Responsibilities
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
Daily operations will include operating Surface Analysis instruments to support customer analysis requests.
Duties include sample preparation, setup and operation of analysis equipment for data collection, reviewing measurement data and summarizing results.
Technician will assist in developing methods and procedures to optimize techniques and capabilities related to in-lab operations.
Daily work includes following laboratory and equipment specific standard operating procedures.
