About the role
We are hiring for our outbound sales team in Montreal. As a BDR, you will be the first person a prospect ever talks to at MaintainX. Your job is to find the plant managers, maintenance supervisors, and operations leads at industrial companies who have a real problem we can solve, and get them in front of an Account Executive. You will make 70 to 100 outbound calls a day. The reps who succeed here are the ones who treat that number as a floor, not a ceiling. Requirements
- Experience in a high-volume, rejection-heavy environment: sales, recruiting, hospitality, retail, or anything that built your resilience and ability to earn trust fast
- A genuine drive to pick up the phone: outbound call volume is the job
- Clear, polished written and verbal communication in English
- Strong follow-through: you own your pipeline and your numbers without being prompted
- Bachelor's degree
- Nice to have: experience with Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or Nooks; prior B2B or SaaS sales experience
