Te tūranga - The role Support the delivery of information security management across a complex pro ject environment. In this role, you'll provide technical and strategic expertise to ensure systems, data, and information are protected. Ō pūkenga - About you To succeed in this role, you will bring: At least 6 years' experience in a technical IT role and a minimum of 4 years' experience in an information security role. A relevant tertiary, technical or industry qualification. Broad knowledge of security risk management in public cloud environments, including an understanding of cloud service offerings and security capabilities, with deep expertise in Microsoft M365 and Azure ecosystem security. Broad knowledge of security architectural principles and frameworks. Experience working within the ICT environment and in information security audit and assurance disciplines, including evaluating security risks and controls for 'cloud' technology and " xaaS " models. Working knowledge of the New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM), Protective Security Requirements (PSR), Cloud Security Alliance (CSA ) and Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM). Experience with and an understanding of common information security frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 270nn, ITIL, NIST and COBIT, operating system internals and network protocols, principles of cryptography and cryptanalysis, and security testing (white box, black box and code review, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing). Proficient in performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments. Strong attention to detail and proven analytical skills to analyse security risks and relate them to appropriate security controls. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to listen effectively, lead and coordinate projects, and contribute actively within teams and working groups. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NZ National Security Clearance at SECRET level. Sound judgement and the ability to think holistically across a broad range of issues. Demonstrates knowledge and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
