Lead the mechanical design and CAD development of custom generator sets, enclosures, and related system components
Own and manage engineering projects from initial requirements through design release and production support
Develop and maintain detailed parametric models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using Creo
Provide technical leadership and guidance to CAD designers and support global engineering resources
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Application Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure alignment and successful project execution
Translate customer requirements into engineered solutions that meet technical, cost, and delivery objectives
Ensure designs meet standards for performance, quality, and manufacturability
Evaluate materials, components, and design approaches to optimize product performance and cost
Identify technical risks and implement effective, data-driven solutions
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes and custom product development
Participate in technical discussions with customers and global engineering teams as needed

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience using Creo for 3D CAD modeling and design
Minimum of 2 years of experience designing industrial or engineered-to-order products
Experience in generator systems, power systems, or industrial equipment design
Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and fabrication processes
Experience working in a cross-functional, global engineering environment
