GS-0640-05 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which assisting with reception and/or clerical duties in a Medical Treatment Facility; assisting with maintaining and/or updating medical records; and assisting with tests, screenings, and/or examinations such as audiograms, pulmonary function testing, and vision screenings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04). OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major study or at least 24 semester hours in subjects directly related to the position, such as Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or Health Informatics.
