Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) ( preferred )
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Ability to analyze and document backend system information
Strong knowledge of Workday security structures
Experience with domain security, business process security, and role management
Ability to analyze and document security models and access logic
Experience with audit processes and risk controls
Knowledge of defect tracking and change management processes
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile
Basic knowledge of Accounting and core Finance processes
Ability to work with third party vendors and technical teams
Two to four years of general Workday experience or Workday security experience
Minimum of five years of business analysis experience working in a technical environment

Job Summary
The Workday Security Analyst is responsible for optimizing and supporting Workday security for Finance, ensuring alignment with business processes and strategic goals. This role designs, configures, and maintains security roles, domain policies, and business process permissions. The analyst monitors risks, supports audits, and works with functional leads to ensure security aligns with operational and compliance needs. The role also supports issue resolution, continuous improvements, and user access governance.
Essential Duties
Lead analysis and design of Finance security roles, domain access, and business process permissions.
Manage Workday security operations including role assignments, access reviews, and incident resolution.
Monitor security risks, complete regular audits, and support internal and external audit requests.
Define and document security requirements for security enhancements and process improvements.
Support testing, deployment, and post release validation across all Finance security changes.
Contribute to training materials and change management efforts focused on secure system use.
Other duties as assigned; support additional initiatives and responsibilities as needed to advance organizational goals.
