Semiconductor Engineer

About the role

Job Description: - Design of overall semiconductor equipment system and component supplier selection. - Design of Illumination & detection optical module, and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze results, generate reports, and provide recommendations - Testing and debugging of equipment or module prototypes. - Perform project management, including planning, defining problems and objectives, developing an approach, and providing recommendations. - Participate in design reviews and prepare design documentations at every stage of development until the final prototype test and characterization. Skills/Experience: - PhD in Microelectronics, Optical Engineering or related fields. - Strong knowledge in semiconductor process, optoelectronic Signal Processing, metrology and inspection principles. - Good knowledge in front-end inspection equipment and related parts, such as laser sustained plasma light source, Illumination optic, stage, CCD camera etc. - Familiar with the semiconductor supply chain ecosystem. - Over 5 years of hands-on experience in On-site debugging, yield decline and system breakdown issue analysis. - Over 5 years of hands-on experience in using and maintaining optical or electron beam inspection equipment. - Highly motivated, able to work independently and excellent communication, organizational, analytical skills. - Good interpersonal and creative skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding and fast paced environment. - Candidate must be a strong team Leader. - Frequent travel is required for this role due to business and operational needs.
