Assist in executing research activities that support the goals and deliverables of the quantum research at the Department
Collect, organize, and perform preliminary analysis of data relevant to project objectives.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of research findings and write up findings for publication
Collaborate with faculty, students and other research staff to support projects
Participate in regular check-ins or lab meetings
Support organization of scientific activities at the Department of Physics in quantum research
Requirements
PhD in Physics or a related field
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Strong Experience in quantum optics research and fundamental physics, supported by a publication track record

Job Description
The Visiting Scholar will support our research efforts in quantum physics and develop own lines of research in quantum optics, quantum information theory and fundamental physics. This position is designed for individuals who are experienced in theoretical work and are interested in research on fundamental physics close to experiments. The work will be performed under the direction of a faculty supervisor. The Scholar will assist in achieving key research milestones through calculations, analysis, and documentation.
