Additional Information
ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU. Additionally, the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry works closely with churches and congregational leaders, primarily within the Churches of Christ. The employee in this position must be able to interact professionally and collegially with Christian leaders.
Responsible for administrative duties in the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry. Reports directly to the Assistant Director.
Basic Responsibilities
A. Provide administrative support to programs and initiatives within the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry.
B. Perform a variety of administrative duties as required by the daily operations of the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry's Empower and Equip Initiative.
C. Provide office support to the Siburt Institute and staff as a whole.

A. Provide administrative support to the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry.
Support the assistant director; collaborate with the operations coordinator and program coordinator, the Summit director, the associate director and other members of the Siburt Institute team.
Coordinate contracts, invoicing, payments, and travel reimbursements for contractors and consultants for Institute engagements.
Assist the program coordinator with the preparation and implementation of event arrangements for on- and off-campus Siburt Institute events (e.g., venue, catering, travel reimbursements, etc.).
Partner with the director of finance and administration for the college and the operations coordinator to perform regular management of the Siburt Institute budget, especially with regard to events, expenditures, payments, etc.
B. Perform a variety of administrative duties for the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry's Empower and Equip Initiative.
Support the work of the assistant director, the resource and event director, and collaborate with the online content manager and research director on day-to-day initiative operations.
Coordinate contracts, invoicing, payments, and travel reimbursements for contractors and consultants for Empower and Equip engagements.
Manage budgets and procurement card reports for the Empower and Equip Initiative.
Assist with the acquisition of goods needed for Empower and Equip engagements and events, like books, food and drink, and office supplies.
Assist with the coordination and implementation of event arrangements for off-campus Siburt Institute events (e.g., venue, catering, travel reimbursements, etc.).
C. Provide support, as required, for the daily operations of the Siburt Institute.
Support operational needs by completing tasks such as filing, scanning, document duplication, and local errands.
Collaborate with and represent ACU to numerous offices, organizations, and individuals both on- and off-campus.
Ensure the inventory of office materials remains at an adequate level.
Participate in meetings with other team members that help to inform about and carry out the work of the Institute.
Foster a hospitable, professional environment that reflects the values of the institute and the university.
Attend and support events as needed, in accordance with agreements made with the assistant director.
Act as a liaison for the university through partnerships with various internal departments and external entities or individuals.

High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Proficiency in PowerPoint preferred.
High proficiency in Google Drive (Docs and Sheets), Calendar, and Email (Gmail) required.
High-level skills in business writing required. Must exhibit strong abilities in spelling, grammar, and style.
