Join our Budapest Team and advance your career as a Lease & Obligations Coordinator- German Speaking bp's EV and convenience strategy requires focused portfolio stewardship and meticulous management of lease, legal and 3rd-party obligations. As the network rapidly expands across highways, cities and high-value locations, robust control of estates data, contractual commitments and compliance requirements is crucial to protect value, minimise risk, and enable timely delivery of new assets. The Lease & Obligations Coordinator will handle lease obligations, landlord and partner commitments, statutory and contractual achievements, portfolio risks, and end-to-end estates administration. The role ensures bp meets all legal/operational obligations, supports investment decisions with high-quality estate data, and provides insight and oversight across the company-owned and 3rd-party portfolio. In this role You will (be doing): Portfolio obligations management Maintain bp's end-to-end register of lease terms, break/renewal triggers, rent reviews, dilapidations, and all contractual obligations across the estate. Act as the SAP superuser, ensuring accurate master data creation and maintenance for locations, profit centers, and contracts. Ensure that all payment processes and contractual commitments are carried out and adhered to Track and manage 3rd-party commitments (e.g., access rights, construction obligations, service agreements) to protect bp's operational continuity. Data, controls & reporting, conduct UAT for B2C EV GY, Own estates data integrity across lease databases, commitment registers, and obligation tracking systems; ensure high accuracy and audit-readiness. Prepare portfolio reporting for senior collaborators: upcoming breaks, risk hotspots, exposure profiles, and financial implications of estate obligations. Support Investment Governance with validated estate information to inform site decisions, renewals, disposals and capital allocation. Identify and raise risks related to non-compliance, landlord disputes, construction/operational obligations, or contractual performance. Maintain standard operating procedures for estates governance, ensuring alignment with bp policies, real estate guidelines and financial frameworks. Support continuous improvement of portfolio processes, tools, templates and controls across the European estate. Coordinate with Land Acquisition, Build, Ops, Legal and external partners to ensure clarity of obligations and timely delivery of commitments. Provide guidance to project teams on lease constraints, key dates, and obligations that may impact construction, planning, or operational activities. What You will need to be successful: Degree in real estate, law, finance, property management or related field (or equivalent professional experience) preferable Fluency in English AND German Several numbers of years' experience in real estate portfolio management, lease administration, estates governance or asset management Strong understanding of commercial lease structures, break/renewal mechanics, and landlord-tenant obligations. Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal/contractual information and ensure compliance across multiple markets. High proficiency with estates/lease management systems and portfolio data tools. Strong analytical capability with commercial awareness; able to interpret complex obligations and quantify business impact. Experience supporting multi-stakeholder property, legal, or development teams. Excellent organization, attention to detail and delivery discipline.
