Perform thorough patient assessments, incorporating all available information and the patient's own perspective of illness
Review and reconcile medications, ensuring safe anesthesia planning and providing patient education as directed by providers
Develop individualized care plans for each patient, updating as needed throughout the pre-anesthesia process
Identify and address patient and staff safety concerns proactively
Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, seamless patient experiences
Provide direct patient education regarding medications, anesthesia preparation, and post-procedure expectations
Participate in the development and delivery of education, orientation, and competency validation for clinical staff
Administer medications per provider orders, following department standards of care
Contribute to departmental quality initiatives and process improvements
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to excellence in patient care

Shift:
Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour Day shifts. No Weekends. No Holidays. No Call.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

Requirements
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within Montana; required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
Current HCP CPR (BLS) certification required
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience preferred; experience in LPAC, PACU, pre-anesthesia, or procedural care strongly valued
Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required depending on assignment; must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, initiative, and critical thinking ability
Ability to prioritize and function both independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse patients and staff
Proficiency in computer systems; Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other programs as needed
