Reporting to the EMEA Head of Transfer Agency, this role holds overall accountability for the Transfer Agency function in Luxembourg, ensuring strong governance, operational control, and service excellence. The successful candidate will act as the senior site and functional leader for Transfer Agency in Luxembourg, with responsibility for performance, risk management, and regulatory readiness.
Responsibilities
Drive process consistency, standardization, efficiency, and oversight in line with global and EMEA Transfer Agency strategy.
Lead Transfer Agency initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
Support new business onboarding and growth initiatives within the constraints of existing workloads and approved budgets.
Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee engagement, teamwork, and open communication.
Manage multiple teams or functions through the direct leadership of managers, providing coaching, direction, and strategic oversight.
Identify talent needs, drive high performance culture and plan for key succession and development.
Make staffing and organizational decisions, manage expenses, and oversee the annual salary review process for the function.
Participate in divisional and regional strategic planning, translating strategy into local priorities and ensuring delivery against objectives.
Develop, manage, and control the Transfer Agency budget for Luxembourg, ensuring financial discipline and cost transparency.
Lead complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and ambiguous or evolving business and regulatory issues.
Maintain a balanced, cross‑functional perspective, partnering with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Technology, and Operations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
Requirements
Seasoned Transfer Agency leader with extensive technical, regulatory, and business expertise, ideally within Luxembourg or a comparable regulated environment.
Strong business strategy and planning capability, with experience managing the profitability and performance of a major business segment.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, with experience directing activities across multiple units or functions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead through change in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Highly flexible, adaptable, and resilient leadership style.
College or University degree and/or equivalent relevant professional experience.
