Job Description: Job Summary** Operate and maintain bodymaker machines to produce high-quality aluminum beverage can bodies, ensuring efficient production and adherence to safety and quality standards. Job Responsibilities** * Set up, operate, and monitor bodymaker machines according to production schedules and specifications. * Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on bodymaker equipment. * Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime. * Monitor product quality, conducting regular checks for defects and ensuring adherence to dimensional and cosmetic standards. * Load and unload materials (aluminum slugs) into the bodymaker machines. * Record production data accurately, including output, downtime, and quality control checks. * Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout, and maintain a clean and organized work area. * Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance staff, and other team members regarding production status, issues, and improvements. * Assist with changeovers and setups for different can specifications. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
