Job Description Summary: We are establishing a Greenfield manufacturing facility at Tlaxcala in Mexico. This will be the flagship facility in line with Industry 4.0 with state-of-the-art advanced automation and digitization. To deliver this, we are hiring a highly competent and motivated professional who will support the design and implementation of the new production processes & facility, as well as act as the local SME for startup, stabilization, and ongoing operations. The Project Engineer will lead the design, procurement, installation, and startup of processing equipment for new manufacturing facilities. The role works in close partnership with cross-functional teams, OEM suppliers, and global subject matter experts to deliver capital projects from concept through commissioning and stabilization. Upon completion, the role supports performance optimization, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position acts as a technical SME, ensuring processing systems and equipment meet business, quality, and operational requirements. What You'll do for Us Lead end-to-end execution of capital projects related to processing equipment, from scope definition through design, installation, commissioning, and startup. Define and develop equipment specifications (URS) in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, QSE, and R&D, ensuring alignment with business and project requirements. Coordinate with OEM suppliers to finalize equipment design, fabrication, and delivery, ensuring compliance with technical and project specifications. Manage on-site installation activities, including coordination of contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Oversee equipment integration within production lines, ensuring proper mechanical, electrical, and automation interfaces. Lead commissioning and startup activities, ensuring equipment performance meets design specifications and supporting ramp-up and stabilization phases. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and startup using structured problem-solving methodologies and implement corrective actions. Capture and apply lessons learned to continuously improve equipment standards and project execution. Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during all phases of project execution. Maintain strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery. Qualification & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, or similar discipline. Proven experience with processing, filling, or packaging equipment in Beverage, FMCG, or similar industries. Strong attention to detail, especially when identifying potential issues, making assessments, and giving recommendations. Basic knowledge of CAD and ability to read equipment drawings. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced English (written and spoken). Ability to manage projects and multitask effectively.
