About the Role: CDC's expansion into Maddington, WA is moving quickly and we're excited to kick off recruitment for a key leadership role within the team. This is a great opportunity to join the WA journey from the ground up and play a big part in shaping the team as it grows. In this role, you'll step into a pivotal leadership position supporting the delivery of high-performing technical facilities management across CDC's data centres. You'll lead and develop a team of shift Service Technicians, driving a strong culture, operational excellence, and a consistent, high-quality service for our customers. You'll work closely with other technical leaders, and the broader operations team to ensure everything runs smoothly across the site, from day-to-day maintenance and incident response through to longer-term planning and initiatives. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead and deliver preventative and reactive maintenance across critical electrical, mechanical and fire systems Align maintenance plans with operational priorities, risk, and resource availability Oversee day-to-day operations of the technical team, including workforce planning, performance and development Mentor and lead a high-performing, safety-first culture across shift-based teams and contractors Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, incidents and root cause analysis Drive reliability and uptime across all critical infrastructure, ensuring systems operate within design parameters Support continuous improvement initiatives including efficiency, sustainability and system optimisation Coordinate and deliver site projects and initiatives, ensuring minimal operational impact Maintain accurate, compliant documentation (SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and technical drawings) and drive best practice Support client engagement and service delivery, ensuring strong communication and a high standard of customer experience Benefits, Training and Offerings: Our training program provides tailored content through our CDC Academy, specifically designed for individuals starting out in this role.
