FP&A and Budget Manager Position Overview: The FP&A, Budgeting Manager is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical initiatives that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Position Description: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Drive the automation of reporting and analytical workflows using platforms such as Sage Intacct, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and related technologies. Organize, manage, and execute the full budgeting cycle in partnership with cross-functional teams. Analyze data using Power BI, Python, Excel, and AI-driven tools including CoPilot/ChatGPT. Present financial insights and observations clearly and concisely, leveraging strong data visualization skills. Support C-suite executives by preparing and refining board-ready PowerPoint presentations and reporting packages. Manage complex projects, workflows, and global resources; ensure clarity of objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Apply professional and commercial judgment to validate recommendations, always asking: "Does this make sense based on all available data points?" Ensure confidentiality, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information. Demonstrate accountability for outcomes, owning both successes and failures. Work independently or collaboratively as needed, adjusting approach based on project scope and team structure. Complete tasks on tight deadlines and proactively seek information or clarification when necessary. Maintain elevated work ethic, with flexibility to work nights and weekends during peak periods. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Experience / Essential Skills Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Typically requires 5 or more years of experience in a related area as an individual contributor. Prior training in investment banking, management consulting, or comparable analytical environments strongly preferred. Strong, verifiable record of critical thinking and analytical capability. Full overlap with U.S. business hours (Eastern Time) is required to support collaboration with U.S.-based executives and stakeholders. Fluency in English is necessary to produce reports, financial models, and presentations used in English-speaking business environments. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly both in writing and in meetings. Computer / Technical Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Demonstrated ability to learn and understand office software applications. Experience with modern accounting software and ERP systems. Good knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS exposure a plus (CPA not required). Very strong Excel and financial modeling skills, with emphasis on model hygiene, versioning, and scalability. Experience with enterprise financial systems and planning tools (e.g., Sage Intacct, Adaptive Planning, PowerBI). Ability to leverage automation and technology to enhance reporting and analysis.
