Possess an active licensure with the Montana Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing.
Minimum 2 years Retail Pharmacy Technician experience
Experience with Pioneer RX pharmacy program a plus!
RQI CPR First Responder required (will be provided by Logan Health during first week of employment)
Proficient typing skills required.
Must have an understanding of medical terminology and calculations.
Prior experience in Pharmacy Systems and Electronic Health Records preferred. Possess ability to learn other software as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Job Specific Duties:
Understands and completes all aspects of medication distribution from the pharmacy and delivers medications in an efficient manner.
Promptly and efficiently answers telephone calls, responds to inquiries and routes appropriately as needed.
Performs all tasks associated with maintaining the pharmacy inventory. This includes, but is not limited to:
Receiving and shelving medications.
Documents and communicates drug shortages.
Monitors the pharmacy inventory for outdated medications and disposes according to current policy.
Exhibits a working knowledge of all pharmacy computer systems.
Data entry, claims billing, filling prescriptions, and cashiering.
Participates in quality assessment and improvement projects.
Maintains a neat and orderly environment. This includes, but is not limited to:
Cleaning duties.
Medication disposal
Trash disposal
Stocking supplies
Actively continues education to keep abreast of Pharmacy law and to maintain current licensure.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
Shift:
Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)
Schedule: 13 week assignment, full-time 40 hours per week. Variable day shifts between Monday - Saturday. No work on Sundays.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

Logan Health is looking for an experienced Seasonal Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our team this season!
This temporary position offers a 13 week, full-time schedule with additional seasonal differential and a completion bonus! You will primarily be working out of our Kalispell, MT, Retail Pharmacy and also be assisting with coverage at our Columbia Falls Retail Pharmacy as needed.
Seasonal Position Details:
Full-Time work schedule required for no less than 13-week period
15% premium differential pay on top of base rate
Additional weekend shift differential pay of $2.25 per hour
$2,000 Seasonal Completion Bonus (paid once 13 week requirement has been met)
No health benefits
