The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for warehouse activities that include inbound, internal, and outbound warehouse processes. Warehouse coordinator will complete, lead, and monitor completion of all warehouse tasks under direction of the Department Manager and in conjunction with shift supervisor, Inventory Control, Quality, Transportation and Customer Service. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter: Partner closely with the warehouse management team to ensure warehouse activities are effectively executed, based on customer expectations and schedules. Monitor and coordinate the shipping cockpit and dock activities, reprioritize tasks as necessary to meet on time goals. Perform warehouse team lead responsibilities, to include coordinating, assigning work activities, reporting and follow-up. Create and release outbound orders and manage picking tasks, including case picking and full pallet picking, outbound order sequencing per each shipment and the overall dock flow. Assign staging areas for outbound and dock doors for inbound loads based on physical product placement, pick path and load complexity. Investigate product shortages and reprocess orders as needed to ensure fill rates are met and there are no warehouse-controlled shortages. Create STOs (Stock Transfer Orders) to move products between warehouse locations as needed. Create and coordinate product put away activities. Create and coordinate replenishment tasks to ensure adequate stock in pick faces and minimal downtime. Assist with inventory control activities, including creating, assigning, and completing inventory control tasks, identifying, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies resulting from the use of exception codes. Work directly with carriers, internal transportation, quality, supply planning and customer service to meet established fill rate, schedules and customer expectations. Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values. Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel. Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have The Following Experience, Skills, and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Preferred, 2-year degree in supply chain management or inventory control management. Two-years in a lead warehouse role, directly in a warehouse, logistics, transportation, or distribution center environment. Excellent computer skills with advanced experience with word processing, spreadsheet applications and specialized inventory control software programs (WMS), SAP a plus. Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer orders, inventory reports, operating procedures to ensure documents are audited and accurate. Ability to generate reports and business correspondence. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Are highly organized and efficient. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written. Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel. Must have excellent mathematical skills. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs. Position Physical Requirements Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift. Physical lifting up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift. Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment, and following approved chemical handling procedures. Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors.
