LSUA is partnering with LSU to offer a hybrid, mostly online B.S. in Chemistry and will count on new hires to play a vital role in this partnership. Adjuncts will be required to complete an intensive guided design model program designed to guide new hires through the development of an online course that is fully aligned with the LSU Online program, meets accessibility standards, and ensures a consistent and positive learning experience for students. Adjuncts will instruct this course beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. The department is looking for applicants in all areas of chemistry, but priority will be given to those with a background in inorganic or physical chemistry.
