About the role

Team Global Express is seeking an HR Driver to commence immediately in Townsville. This is a full-time permanent role Overtime will be offered subject to operational needs. Safely operate heavy combination vehicles to complete scheduled local deliveries and pickups. Carry out scheduled deliveries, ensuring freight is delivered accurately and within required timeframes. Ensure freight is safely secured and restrained using straps and chains, and assist with loading and unloading as required. Conduct multi-drop pickups and deliveries, ensuring correct handling and placement of freight at each location. Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements. Maintain trucks in a clean and serviceable condition, and keep the yard and work area tidy. Follow all company procedures, including hazard, near-miss, and incident reporting processes. Demonstrate a strong safety-first approach and consistently adhere to WHS practices and procedures. Please note: There is no set allocation of trucks in this position.
