Partner with team members to enhance team agility in meeting demand for assistance in all markets served by the team and across Global Litigation
Identify the potential for the evolution of risk to drive early resolution and improve cycle time
Facilitate roundtable discussions with Claims partners, providing legal analysis of risk factors, strength of defenses, and resolution strategy
Use data analytics to identify trends in litigation country-wide and in specific jurisdictions and provide analysis, alternatives, and risk factors to Claims and Client Legal Services through strategic summaries tailored to each specific audience
Act as an advanced resource to Claims partners and Client Legal Services in evaluating the effectiveness of litigation strategies in changing claim environments and high-risk markets
Review and analyze matters in litigation and develop appropriate strategy to resolve or proceed to trial
Lead discussions with Client Legal Services attorneys to assist with development of complex litigation strategy
This role may require minimal travel, depending on business needs and/or business unit requirements.
Education & Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited institution and active state bar license in good standing
5 or more years of experience
Functional Skills & Experience
Experience representing insured individuals and corporate clients in the defense of bodily injury and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) matters.
Ability to serve as first or second chair in jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations, handling matters with limited supervision.
Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and arguing pre-trial and post-trial motions, including motions in limine and summary judgment motions.
Experience conducting and defending depositions independently.
Capable of developing and implementing litigation strategies, including early case evaluation, risk assessment, and settlement analysis and recommendations.
Strategic Collaboration & Operational Agility: Demonstrates the ability to partner across teams and functions to improve responsiveness, prioritize workload, and adapt quickly to evolving litigation support demands across global markets.

The Trial Advisory Counsel Lead Consultant reviews moderate and complex matters in litigation and provides legal analysis of cases including liability, injuries, claimed damages, and strength of defenses.
This role leads strategy consultations with Client Legal Services attorneys to assist with the development of litigation strategy, promote proactive movement of the case towards resolution, and mitigation of risk.
The Lead Consultant also advises and counsels Claims business partners by facilitating roundtable discussions on legal risk factors, value drivers, and potential resolution strategies on individual cases as well as providing insight on emerging local and industry trends through data analytics.
