Receive and triage returned material into the complaints lab.
Perform inspections and testing to support complaint investigations.
Document findings in complaint investigations.
Material disposition
Maintain Quality Assurance Lab in accordance with documented procedures
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (e.g. multimeters) and testing to perform quality inspections
Ability to read and understand information about device complaints, follow written instructions
Work independently
Communicate clearly
Familiar with working in controlled environments an asset
Education and Experience:
Associate or bachelor's degree in an applied science or engineering field preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the medical device industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
Background in electronics, software engineering and/or product development engineering preferred

About This Role:

iRhythm Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Complaint Technician to join our Quality Engineering department. The Complaint Technician works 100% on site and supports returned device product complaint investigations. Day to day responsibilities include assisting with field investigations by performing testing and inspections on returned product, document the testing results, and dispositioning the product. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges involving medical devices with embedded systems, as well as electrical and mechanical components.
