The Project Manager I, Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) is responsible for managing small- to medium-sized joint development and planning projects on District property in accordance with RTD's TOD policies and procedures. This role coordinates project activities from initiation through completion, including proposal review, tracking project budgets and contracts, and coordinating with internal teams, regional agencies, and external stakeholders. The Project Manager I, TOD will also facilitate stakeholder outreach, support TOD planning initiatives, and contribute to broader regional TOD strategies. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL: Project Management Manages small- to medium-sized projects from initiation through completion, including scope, schedule, budget, and implementation activities, with support from senior team members as needed. Reviews unsolicited proposals and proposals from external agencies and partners and supports the evaluation of development opportunities. Supports the Request for Proposal (RFP) process from development through award. Ensures projects adhere to relevant federal, state, and local regulations, environmental policies, and funding requirements. Monitors project milestones, tracks invoicing, and proactively identifies and resolves issues impacting project delivery. Prepares reports and presentations to communicate project status and updates to leadership, funding agencies, and external stakeholders. Collaborates with internal teams to align projects with greater RTD planning and service initiatives. Oversees interns, guiding research and assignments, and providing feedback. Planning and Program Support: Conducts planning, research, and analysis related to assigned projects and program initiatives. Analyzes trends, proposals, site conditions, and relevant data to support decision-making and project development. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to align projects with agency goals, infrastructure, and service strategies. Conducts research and analysis on industry trends and prepares analytical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engages with stakeholders to ensure project transparency and collaboration.
