Registered apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician from a recognized authority
Experience with heavy civil construction or highway paving equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset
Valid Driver's License and a 3-year driver's abstract
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions with diagrams or sketches
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Conditions
Based in Leduc, Alberta with limited travel to field operations
Local applicants only (no camp)

Essential Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, highway trucks, asphalt plants, pavers, rollers and other various off road equipment
Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
