Essential Responsibilities
Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
Prepares foods according to recipes and standards.
Maintains stock levels in assigned area.
Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas; keeps work station clean and organized.
Follows standards regarding portion sizes; portions and plates foods.
Follows food safety guidelines and proper safety procedures related to food service equipment, knives, preparation and holding of foods.
Attends all required inservice training.
Prepares patient trays according to diets and requests.
Dates and stores food.
12.F ollows infection control guidelines for handling soiled dishes and utensils.
13 .Ensures dishes and pots are clean prior to storing; follows proper procedures for cleaning dishes, utensils, and pots.
Documents dish machine temperatures.
Reports all sharps found on soiled trays to supervisor.
Assists with achieving customer satisfaction goals for the department.
Performs other duties as assigned.
