Oversee commercial responsibilities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from bidding to execution, including order-to-cash management, opportunity/risk management, and application of Rolls-Royce Commercial Excellence frameworks.
Commercial Finance Specialist - Governmental Projects at Rollsroyce
Provide commercial support during bid and contract initiation, focusing on risk assessment, contract review, and leveraging Rolls-Royce contract management tools and processes.
Support project management to achieve targets by ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction, using Rolls-Royce Project Controls and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manage financial and commercial aspects of projects and portfolios, including cost control, monthly status reporting, and rebate programs, following Rolls-Royce financial reporting and cost management protocols.
Analyze project changes and delays, assessing their financial and business impact, in line with Rolls-Royce risk management and recovery procedures.
Act as the subject matter expert for governmental requirements throughout all contract phases and keep management informed of project status and issues, utilizing Rolls-Royce reporting systems and communication channels.
Promote a culture of compliance and integrity aligned with Rolls-Royce values, and perform special projects as needed, leveraging Rolls-Royce Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with 7+ years of experience, OR
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, OR
Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with 2+ years of experience, OR
In lieu of a degree 9+ years of professional experience in controlling in a manufacturing environment
Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours during key reporting periods and to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and present financial data effectively.

Strong understanding of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data analysis
Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities, including planning and follow-up, with experience working both independently and as part of a team
