Update and maintain daily and weekly dispatch schedules
Assist in adjusting schedules based on operational changes or customer requirements
Communicate updates to drivers, field staff, and internal teams
Customer Communication
Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery or service updates
Respond to inquiries professionally via phone and email
Provide accurate information on timing, delays, and service status
Documentation & Administration
Complete and process dispatch-related paperwork
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and service activity
Ensure all documentation is filed and stored in line with company procedures
Operational Support
Work closely with dispatch coordinators to support daily operations
Monitor job progress and flag any issues or delays
Assist with data entry and system updates
Skills & Requirements:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service ability
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in basic computer systems (e.g., Excel, dispatch software, email systems)
Team-oriented with a proactive approach
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or administrative support (desirable but not essential)
Experience handling customer communications
