Assist in planning and executing all golf course maintenance practices, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest management
Supervise and lead crew members, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards
Train, mentor, and develop team members
Monitor turf health and environmental conditions to support optimal playing surfaces
Assist in irrigation scheduling, troubleshooting, and repairs
Support chemical and fertilizer applications in compliance with local/state regulations
Maintain accurate records of agronomic practices and inventory
Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and resource allocation
Step in as acting Superintendent in the Superintendent's absence
Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field (preferred)
3-5+ years of golf course maintenance experience, with leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of warm-season turfgrass management (Bermuda preferred)
Texas pesticide applicator's license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Experience with irrigation systems and water management
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and commitment to excellence
