Coordinate with manufacturers, specialty distributors, and payer networks to improve access and reimbursement.
Develop specialty pharmacy clinical programs focused on high-touch patient care and outcomes.
Monitor specialty pharmacy KPIs including turnaround time, adherence rates, refill compliance, and revenue performance.
Manage DMEPOS product offerings, inventory, documentation, and billing processes.
Ensure staff competency in DMEPOS product education and patient training.
Develop referral relationships to increase DMEPOS utilization and patient access.
Monitor reimbursement trends and payer requirements related to DMEPOS services.
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Schedule staff appropriately to ensure operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Lead regular team meetings and communicate operational goals and performance expectations.

Requirements
Required
Active NY State Pharmacist license in good standing.
Minimum of 3-5 years of retail pharmacy experience.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, third-party billing, and regulatory compliance.
Strong understanding of DMEPOS and/or specialty pharmacy operations.
Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

Position Summary
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the overall operation, clinical oversight, financial performance, and strategic growth of the retail pharmacy.
