Prepare and type correspondence, reports, and official documents.
Maintain and update student academic and administrative records.
Enter data into electronic systems (e.g., CIS) with a high level of accuracy.
Compile and distribute reports as required by the center and DOL.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
Operate standard office equipment (computer, copier, scanner, fax).
Provide general administrative support and cover reception duties as needed.
Ensure confidentiality of student information at all times.
Follow all Job Corps, DOL, and center policies and procedures.
Assist other departments to ensure accurate student information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Office Systems or related field.
At least one (1) year of related administrative experience.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage confidential information.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Requirements
Experience working with youth and young adults (ages 16-24) in an educational or training setting.
Bilingual (English and Spanish).
