As the AME - Avionics you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting support on aircraft Avionics. Click the link below to see what it's like to work with Summit Air: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC-W5h3r5Ec&t=2s Essential Responsibilities: Performs day-to-day on-aircraft Avionics troubleshooting and repair tasks Performs maintenance checks on Avionics systems including but not limited to communications, navigation, autopilot, Pitot-static, radar, AC & DC power distribution and aircraft lighting Carries out various installations on aircraft Operates Avionics test equipment including air data test set, navigation and communications, ATC ramp testers, and other electronic test equipment Performs all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness Ensures all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submitting to Crew Chief Identifies possible Service Difficulty Report (SDR) situations and reports to Crew Chief Troubleshoots faulty systems to determine a course of rectification
