The Associate Underwriter plays a vital role in delivering our AI-powered underwriting platform's differentiated value proposition by efficiently managing standard insurance submissions, supporting broker communications, and ensuring high-quality underwriting throughout. Working within a collaborative 'pod' structure under the guidance of a Senior Underwriter, the AU executes repeatable, process-driven tasks that drive volume and efficiency, allowing the team to scale while maintaining strong broker relationships. Job Responsibilities Execute standard underwriting submissions, applying established guidelines and logic codified within the proposal engine. Manage submission pipelines, ensuring timely processing and supporting the delivery of quotes in accordance with productivity expectations. Support minor broker communications and follow-ups as needed, serving as a reliable point of contact for routine inquiries. Generate and validate final quotes, forms, and documentation for binding, coordinating with policy issuance and servicing teams as needed. Maintain accuracy of in-force policies, execute mid-term changes, and support renewals readiness by updating data and preparing handoffs to underwriters. Collaborate with Senior Underwriters to ensure consistent and high-quality output, escalating complex or flagged submissions as appropriate. Participate in ongoing training and development to support career progression toward more senior underwriting roles. Education High School Diploma or relevant work experience required Work Experience/Skill Set Strong attention to detail and process orientation Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Interest in career development within the underwriting profession US Work Authorization US Work Authorization required.
