The responsibility of this position is primarily to provide inpatient and emergency care of neurologic patients roughly one weekend per month at Sturdy Memorial Hospital
Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with neurological disorders working closely with hospitalists and other providers with different sub-specialty training and interests
Weekend call coverage includes Friday through Sunday, or option for Saturday through Sunday
Responsible for rounding once per day and responding to initial consults within 24 hours while on call
Weekend call volume estimated at 5-15 new consults
Requirements
Availability to cover an average of one weekend per month
BE/BC Neurology
Current medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or ability to obtain
