Position Description:
Position Responsibilities /Essential Functions
The functions within this job family will vary by level; responsibility but may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Conducts intakes, including initial client interviews and mental health assessment to make recommendations for appropriate services.
Conducts assessments and evaluations to arrive at appropriate diagnoses and develops treatment plans to effectively address the child/family's mental health needs.
Provides clinic-based individual, family and group therapy including infant and early childhood mental health services to support child and family well-being.
Participates in and develops psycho-educational programs which include parenting workshops and children's groups
Participates in multidisciplinary team staffing to provide recommendations for individual diagnosis and treatment.
Provides consultation regarding mental and behavioral health strategies to professionals that work with children birth up to age 18.
Provides outreach, training, and early childhood mental health consultation within the community to support child and family well-being and positive health outcomes.
