About the role
We are seeking a highly capable, values-led Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of major mining and infrastructure projects across our Western Australian operations. In this role, you will: Lead with safety and purpose by driving visible EHS leadership and ensure all construction activities meet Alcoa standards, environmental approvals, and statutory obligations. Deliver complex projects by coordinating multi-contractor construction across brownfields mining environments while minimising operational disruption. Own execution performance and ensure projects are delivered to approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations. Strengthen operational integration where you will partner closely with Operations and Asset Owners to ensure smooth handover and long-term asset performance. Drive contractor performance and oversee mobilisation, supervision, and accountability of contractor teams across multiple work fronts. What you can bring to the role Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management are preferred; significant construction leadership experience from a trade background will also be considered. Extensive experience delivering construction in mining, heavy industry or major infrastructure environments. Proven capability in executing complex brownfields projects within live operational mining settings. Strong track record leading multi-discipline, multi-contractor construction teams, including experience across EPC, EPCM and D&C delivery models. Demonstrated expertise in environmental compliance during construction, with experience delivering haul roads, bulk earthworks and key mining infrastructure works. Flexibility to travel regularly, with an on-site presence approximately four days per week across locations such as Huntly and surrounding areas, and one day based in Booragoon.
