Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Working directly with New York-based AP Managers and HPS Accounts Payable professionals to ensure that requested Expense Report assistance and Expense Program reporting is completed in accordance with instructions including:
Completion of expense reports in accordance with policies, limits and deadlines
Ensuring support for all transactions is provided and aligns with charges
Accurate processing of expense reports in HPS's Workday ERP
Allocated expenses are supported with accurate schedules
Providing professionals and admins timely updates of expense report preparation
Daily, weekly and monthly expense program reporting is prepared and reviewed
Ad hoc expense program spend analysis
Participation in regular team meetings and interactive group chats
Working collectively with team and HPS professionals/admins to ensure processes are effective in periods of high volume
Assisting in the improvement of current processes and procedures to enhance controls and efficiency as well as special projects and troubleshooting on an as needed basis
Candidate Profile
4-9 years of relevant expense report or credit card program management experience
Bachelor's degree in Business related field preferred
Ability to work New York hours
Detail oriented and motivated individual with strong communication skills
An inquisitive and curious mindset
Demonstrates competency in problem solving
Experience with Workday a significant plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus

Department Description
The Management Company Accounting team ensures all financial transactions are properly identified, interpreted, analyzed, and reported throughout the organization and to various external stakeholders for measurement and assessment of financial performance. The team is responsible for ensuring that resources are properly budgeted and allocated throughout the organizations by ensuring risks are properly managed and controls are sufficiently designed and that such firm investments are appropriately strategized to generate sufficient returns and distributions. The Group collaborates with all aspects of the Firm including strategic corporate investors, partners, BDIR, tax, payroll, operations, legal and compliance, and fund accounting, amongst others.
Position Description
HPS is looking for a bright and motivated individual to join our Mumbai based Management Company Accounting team to work with the Expense Report Oversight team focusing on all aspects of the Firm's Expense Report and Credit Card functions. The position will report to the New York based, ED of Accounts Receivable/Payable and work within the Global Controller's Group.
