How you'll make a difference AECOM's Highways team in Brisbane is growing and we're looking for a Technical Officer to help deliver some of Queensland's most important transport infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work across TMR and major local government clients, this is a role where you'll step into real design, take ownership of drafting and modelling tasks, and play a key role in shaping how projects are delivered. This role will involve the production and delivery of high-quality digital documentation for major infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on bridge and structural design. Prepare drawing documentation using Revit and AutoCAD in accordance with client and industry standards and with support from engineers and experienced technical staff. Develop your Digital Engineering / BIM capabilities working with highly skilled Technicians. Excellent opportunities for career progression. When ready, contribute to drafting and modelling innovation and help refine processes and systems Contribute to innovation in digital engineering, modelling and automation The qualities that help you thrive 2-4 years' experience in technician role, ideally with a structures team focusing on transport infrastructure Strong capability / enthusiasm to upskill in Revit and AutoCAD (essential) Exposure to Civil 3D, OpenRoads and/or MicroStation (advantageous) Associate degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or approaching completion.
