We are actively seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect, Security. The role will report directly to the Regional Manager, Product Services, NAMER & APAC. Qualified candidates can work remotely, preferred location is near Tokyo.
Position Summary
The Sr. Solutions Architect, Security is responsible for supporting the development and expansion of Security Services associated with ERP implementations (such as SAP and Oracle EBS) for Rimini Street clients. This role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining security solutions, as well as researching threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses impacting the products and services delivered by Rimini Street. The individual will collaborate with the existing team to assess the relevance of identified weaknesses and exposures, determine appropriate mitigations, and contribute to documentation detailing these mitigation strategies.
Additionally, the Sr. Solutions Architect, Security Services oversees the successful implementation and validation of security solutions in alignment with deployment project plans. They will work closely with Global teams to provide post-implementation support for security products. Further responsibilities include partnering with the Security Products research and development team to assist with efficacy testing, product implementation strategies, and planning, along with preparing documentation related to software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of security products under the guidance of Senior Solutions Architects.
Utilize the repeatable project plans and best practices to manage the onboarding projects and contribute feedback for process improvement.
Self-training and self-study for achieving certifications in the various Security related trends and technologies.
Extensive research of security vulnerabilities and their underlying weaknesses.
Review, suggest, and implement improvements for security practices.
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services (understand tools and capabilities).
Development of logic (including rules and signatures) as well as hardening configurations to mitigate the risk of vulnerabilities.
Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls.
Provide critical feedback to security solution providers and guidance in the development of product enhancements and features.
Conduct Security Assessments for Customers and prospects, covering variety of ERP environments, Complex WebLogic/WebSphere environments.

Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
Security Certification Required (e.g., CISA, CEH, CISSP, CRISC etc.) or actively working on the certification
