Evaluate the design realization of electronic circuits to optimize costs and minimize Bill of Materials (BOM) risk.
Drive cost avoidance and sustaining engineering improvements throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle.
Lead complex issue resolution and technical lifecycle management, including defect reduction and new component qualification.
Assess Contract Manufacturer (CM) and supply chain technical capability gaps to ensure consistent manufacturing quality.
Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities, integrating Quality, Reliability and Testability principles to ensure product resiliency.
Create, analyze, and release technical product documentation to support mass production and field quality standards.
Represent the Values of Supply Chain in product related design discussions.
Support Product Lifecycle changes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or product development engineering.
3+ years of hands-on experience designing new electronic circuits and components.
Demonstrated experience working with PCB-Assembly manufacturers.
Proven ability to perform design lab experimentation, debug, and root cause analysis.
Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams to adopt design changes for cost, quality and user experience improvements.
Expert-level proficiency in applying DFx methodologies (DFM, DFR, DFQ) to complex hardware projects.
Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams to adopt design changes for cost or quality improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting technical data to stakeholders.
Proven ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
Familiarity with industry innovations and trends in networking or video collaboration technology.
