About the role

Damen Civil & Modular Constructions is a company within the Damen group where we are passionate about building entire shipyards, drydocks of all sizes, a wide range of (modular) pontoons and barges, and any other steelworks worldwide. We are headquartered in the center of the Netherlands in Gorinchem but we service an build all over the globe. We have a diverse mix of experts in engineering, production (local and global), quality and project/product management. Together we aim to serve our internal and external clients with out of the box solutions. About you: As a Project Manager Engineering you ensure that all the engineering needs of any project are being fulfilled. You will have a coordinating role between the project manager and the inhouse engineers or any (number of) external engineering parties. You are able to ensure that the engineering deliverables are met and also have the capability to ensure that the quality is up to standard for procurement, work preparation and ultimately for construction. Part of your role is also to ensure that all engineering deliverables are according to the sold specification, class and local regulations. You have a strong technical background with solid project management skills.
