As a Security Officer, you'll serve as a trusted presence throughout the hospital while helping protect those who need it most. Responsible to the Director of Security for providing routine security patrol; responding to incidents, offenses, and emergency situations; maintaining locked areas; reporting criminal offenses to the Director; interacting with Police and Fire officials; and representing the Medical Center in a polite, friendly, professional manner to patients, family members, visitors, employees, and the general public. Responsibilities

• Work toward the departmental aim of providing for:
• The personal safety of all patients, visitors, medical staff, volunteers and employees of the hospital.
• The protection of personal property belonging to all patients, visitors, medical staff, volunteers and employees of the hospital.
• The protection of the physical privacy of all patients, visitors, medical staff, volunteers and employees of the hospital.
• The protection of all hospital-owned property.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months security experience.
